HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. (WJZ) — An eight-year-old lad playing with occurrence caused a blaze that displaced the child’s household from their Havre De Grace location Tuesday evening, the Office of the State Fire Marshall said.
Units from the Susquehanna Hose Company responded to 426 Washington Street, for a reported occurrence connected the apical floor. Responders noticed a tiny occurrence successful the third-floor bedroom, which was extinguished wrong 5 minutes.
Officials said the occurrence caused $25,000 successful damage.
Two adults and 3 children are displaced and they are being assisted by friends and family. Officials said the lad was referred to the Department of Juvenile Services.
